Marse Landing sits on Four Mile Creek and offers great amenities!
Locals sometimes refer to this park as shell island or shell point as it was the dumping spot for oyster shells in years gone by.
The location was also used by Union troops during Brigadier General Alexander Asboth’s West Florida Raid for logistics during operations in the area.
Local Wisdom:
Careful driving over the bridge. From pavement to wood can startle anyone traveling more than a couple miles an hour. Best to ride the brake when transitioning on and off the bridge or you’re bound to lose your tackle.
